How to Calculate Percentile?

Percentile shows the position of a value in the total as a percentage. The following formula is used to calculate:

Example:

• 100 people in a class, if you are 80th: (80 ÷ 100) × 100 = 80 % is your percentile
• 50 students in a class, if you are 10th: (10 ÷ 50) × 100 = 20 % is your percentile
