Calqoo is a calculator app that brings together 200+ tools in one place — finance, health, education, travel, law, insurance, math, and more. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how the app works.

1. Data We Collect

Calqoo does not require account creation, sign-in, or registration. We do not directly collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number through the app itself.

When you use calculators, you may enter numbers, text, dates, or other values to perform calculations. This input is processed on your device to show results. We do not operate a central server that stores your calculation inputs or results.

On mobile (Android and iOS), the app uses Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial ads. Through this service, limited ad-related data may be processed to serve and measure ads according to Google's policies. Ads are not shown in the web version of the app.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

Calqoo stores certain preferences and app data locally on your device using on-device storage (Hive). This data stays on your device unless you uninstall the app or clear app data.

• Settings: regional profile (country, display currency, number format), onboarding and app tour status, and reference data update timestamps.
• Favorites: calculators you mark as favorites for quick access.
• Calculation history: recent calculation entries for individual calculators (limited number of records per calculator).
• Currency cache: temporarily cached exchange rates to reduce network requests (typically refreshed every few hours).

You can change regional settings inside the app. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes this locally stored data.

3. Network Requests

Calqoo works offline for most calculators. In some cases, the app makes limited network requests:

• Exchange rates: when you use currency-related calculators, the app may request current rates from public APIs such as Frankfurter and open.er-api.com. These requests include currency codes (for example, USD, EUR, TRY), not your identity.
• Country detection (first setup): during initial regional setup, the app may send one request to ipapi.co to suggest a country based on your network location. You can always choose or change your country manually in settings.
• Advertising: Google AdMob may process device and ad-related signals when ads are loaded or shown on mobile.

We do not operate our own user database or backend that receives your calculation content.

4. Advertising (Mobile)

On Android and iOS, Calqoo uses Google AdMob for banner and interstitial (full-screen) advertising.

• Ads are shown on mobile platforms only; the web build does not display AdMob ads.
• Interstitial ads are subject to frequency limits inside the app.
• We do not require an in-app account and do not use account-based behavioral targeting.
• Ad personalization and consent options may be managed through your device settings and applicable Google/consent flows.

6. Data Sharing and Retention

We do not sell your personal information. We do not operate a cloud account system for Calqoo. Limited processing may occur through third-party services (Google AdMob, public exchange-rate APIs, and optional IP-based country detection) according to their respective policies.

Locally stored app data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Third-party providers may retain data according to their own retention schedules.

7. Children's Privacy

Calqoo is a general-purpose calculator app and is not directed exclusively at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our support channels, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

8. Your Choices

• Change regional settings (country, currency, formats) inside the app at any time.
• Remove favorites and clear per-calculator history within the app where available.
• Delete all local app data by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage on your device.
• Manage ad personalization through your device and platform privacy settings.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
