Standard deviation is a measure of how much data points deviate from the mean.

s = √[Σ(x - μ)² / (n-1)]

Here:

  • s = Standard deviation
  • x = Data point
  • μ = Average
  • n = Data count
  • n-1 = Freedom degree (for sample)

Note: At least two numbers are required.
